Graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon, he specialized in Stomatology and Orofacial Surgery at Santa Maria Hospital. He is a faculty member of the International Sialendoscopy Society and has dedicated himself to the field of salivary gland surgery, with a particular focus on minimally invasive techniques using ultrasound-guided and endoscopic methods.

He is a researcher and a guest speaker at various national congresses, giving talks on salivary gland surgery and dry mouth.

He is a guest lecturer in postgraduate courses at the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon in the areas of oral reconstruction and rehabilitation.
