Dra. MARTA GALRITO

STOMATOLOGY DOCTOR

Graduated from a nationally recognized institution in the specialty, she focused her training on Oral Medicine, a field dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of various pathologies of the mouth and lips.

She has 5 years of clinical experience in this area, which has been developing over the past few years in Portugal, currently working on two innovative aspects related to it:

1 – She is part of the first clinical research team in Portugal studying the use of contact endoscopy technique in the diagnosis and follow-up of different lesions of the mouth and lips, an original work on a global scale. The Portuguese Institute of the Face is the first private center to offer this advanced technology for the rigorous diagnosis of different oral and labial mucosa lesions.

2 – Utilization of various types of lasers in the treatment of different lesions within the scope of Oral Medicine and the treatment of sleep apnea. She is a founding member and part of the board of SPALO – Portuguese Society for Oral LASER Applications.

In addition to her unique experience in her field, she has a guaranteed quality referral network for a more specialized and multidisciplinary approach to her patients with pathologies that significantly impact their quality of life, such as oral ulcers, dry mouth, white lesions in the mouth, oral lichen planus, burning mouth syndrome, oral lesions caused by HPV, among other common conditions affecting the mouth and lips.
