Graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Porto, she moved to Lisbon to specialize at Santa Maria University Hospital. Early in her specialty, she directed her training towards the areas of Temporomandibular Joint Pathology, Orthognathic Surgery, and Oral Surgery and Rehabilitation, which have always motivated her clinical practice.

She has participated in postgraduate programs, courses, congresses, and updates in her areas of expertise, both nationally and internationally. She also has several scientific articles published in renowned journals on her curriculum.

She is a guest assistant in postgraduate courses at the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon in the area of Oral Rehabilitation.
