The Department of Oral and Maxillary Surgery at Instituto Português da Face is dedicated to the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of oral and jaw pathology.
Our team is focused on interventions performed under the comfort of general anaesthesia, in particular: impacted wisdom teeth extraction (impacted third molars), enucleation of maxillary cysts, extraction of several teeth under general anaesthesia in patients who cannot tolerate dental treatment under local anaesthesia.

The signs and symptoms of different oral and maxillary pathologies are sometimes often evident in radiological examinations or they may be more intense with swelling of the jaws, repeated infections or decreased facial sensitivity.
Our multidisciplinary team’s main objective is to provide the best healthcare for patients with impacted teeth, jaw cysts, or other oral and/or maxillary pathologies.
