Graduated from Nova University of Lisbon, NOVA Medical School, with an integrated master's degree. Specialization in Endocrinology at Santa Maria Hospital in Lisbon.

She was a visiting assistant at the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon. She collaborates in the Postgraduate Course in Human Sexuality at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon and the Portuguese Society of Clinical Sexology. She is dedicated to various areas of Endocrinology, including thyroid pathology, diabetes, and obesity, participating in several congresses and courses.

After her residency, she was responsible for the endocrine component of Gender Dysphoria in adults at the North Lisbon Hospital Center. She is part of the Transgender Medicine Study Group of the Portuguese Society of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
