Nurse since 2008, always dedicated to the care of babies and children, mainly in the context of intermediate and intensive neonatal care.

Since 2019, she has opened horizons and dedicated herself to nursing consultations for children diagnosed with cleft lip and palate and their families, combining her experience as a mother with her expertise in caring for newborns with different types of complications/health needs.

The practice is combined with an academic career with a postgraduate degree in Child Neurodevelopment and Neonatal and Pediatric Urgencies and Emergencies and, more recently, the Master's and Specialization in Rehabilitation Nursing from the Escola Superior de Enfermagem de Lisboa.

She has served as a speaker at several training events.
