Dr. LUÍS RIBEIRO

Plastic Surgeon

Graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon. Specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery and a member of the European College (FEBOPRAS) since 2022. Master's degree in Reconstructive Microsurgery from the College of Medicine of Chang Gung University (Taiwan) in 2021-2022.

He completed several international internships, including in Aesthetic Surgery with Professors Patrick Tonnard and Alexis Verpaele (Coupure Clinic, Ghent, Belgium) and in Gender Confirmation Surgery with Professor Casoli (Pellegrin Hospital Center, Bordeaux, France).

He completed two international fellowships, each lasting 12 months, in Reconstructive Microsurgery at world-renowned centers - at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan, where the training program was coordinated by world-renowned surgeon Fu-Chan Wei, and at Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia.

He is the lead author of 14 publications in international scientific journals (including "Burns," "JPRAS," "Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery," "Annals of Plastic Surgery"). He is a reviewer for international journals (JPRAS).
