DR. DIOGO FIGUEIREDO

AESTHETIC AND CAPILLARY MEDICINE DOCTOR

A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Lleida (Catalonia, Spain), Dr. Diogo Figueiredo Gonçalves went through several training programs in the United States, Slovakia, Italy, Portugal and Mexico during his academic period. He specialized in General and Family Medicine at the Can Misses Hospital in Ibiza (Balearic Islands, Spain) and obtained specific training in Aesthetic Medicine at the Master in Aesthetic Medicine at the University of the Balearic Islands, where he later also collaborated as a professor.

With more than 10 years of clinical experience, he regularly participates in courses and training in the various areas of Aesthetic Medicine and is a regular speaker at various congresses, both nationally and internationally.

He is currently Director and Professor of the Module on “Lipodystrophy and Other Body Contour Alterations” at the International Postgraduate Course in Aesthetic Medicine at Alcalá de Henares University in Madrid, one of the few universities in the world to be recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

He is a founding member, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Director of the Communication Department of the Portuguese Society of Aesthetic Medicine.
