DR. CATARINA SILVESTRE

ENDOCRINOLOGY DOCTOR

Graduated from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, NOVA Medical School, with an integrated master's degree. Specialty in Endocrinology at Hospital de Santa Maria in Lisbon.

She was a guest assistant at the Lisbon Faculty of Medicine. Collaborates on the Postgraduate Course in Human Sexuality at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon and the Portuguese Society of Clinical Sexology. She dedicates herself to several areas of Endocrinology, namely thyroid pathology, diabetes and obesity, with participation in several conferences and courses.

After internship, she was responsible for the endocrine component of Gender Dysphoria in adults at Centro Hospitalar Lisboa Norte. She is part of the Transgender Medicine Study Group of the Portuguese Society of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
